Life, Experienced.

Today I hung up my short white coat for the very last time.

Two years. Done. Gone. The longest and most intense two years of my life, but yet here it is, over in a flash. The end of PA school is suddenly staring me in the face.

I’m quietly sniffling to myself as I pack up my room, and I was teary-eyed this afternoon as I walked out of the Clinic for the last time. These past 3.5 weeks have been absolutely amazing. By far, the best rotation of PA school.

I am so blessed to have had this opportunity to learn and work at the Cleveland Clinic. I was awed, challenged and inspired on a daily basis both by the preceptors I worked with and the patients I had the privilege to meet. Each person I worked with went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive and enriching rotation. I could not have asked for a better final practicum experience. The mid-level providers exemplified the kind of PA I strive to be, and the physicians very graciously shared their time and wisdom with an awestruck student.

I am also overwhelmed by the love and support from the Taylor family. Thank you so much for welcoming me as part of the family for a few weeks. You guys made this clinical opportunity a reality for me and I cannot thank you enough!

Cleveland, OH will always hold a special place in my heart! Such an amazing life experience!
